TJHSST Class of 2021 Welcome/Preview Night

This is a night dedicated to provide newly accepted students (and their parents) with information about the various curricular and extracurricular programs available to students.

April 7

Deadline to accept offers of admission

If you haven’t done so yet, please login to your online portal and submit your intention 'form' to the TJHSST Admissions Office by this date. Failure to do so will indicate that a student does not intend on attending TJHSST in the Fall.

April 19

Deadline to submit registration paperwork

For those families joining TJHSST from outside of FCPS, please be sure to submit your registration paperwork to the school no later than this date. For more information about what paperwork is necessary, please visit the Registration Paperwork website that we have created to assist with all of the necessary information.

Deadline to submit Course Selections (Online)

All students will be provided a network account that they will use throughout their time at TJHSST. This account will afford rising 9th graders the ability to select and submit their course selections electroncially. An email will be sent out after Registration Night that will provide course registration information and directions for how to complete this process. After students have submitted their course selections, parents will receive an email asking that they certify and approve of the student's course selections. This email will be sent to the enrolling parent email address on record (submitted in your registration forms).

Summer Round, Waitlist, new 10th, and new 11th grade registration

Newly accepted students will be invited to come and officially register for TJHSST. Specific times and detailed information will be communicated directly with those families impacted.

New Student Orientation

Students and parents will have an opportunity to come to TJ to hear from the Principal and to receive key information related to the opening of school. Parents will have an opportunity to hear from the PTSA and to learn about the their role as the students transition to TJHSST and to meet their student's School Counselor. Students will have a chance to meet their teachers, visit the classrooms and, if desired, to stay for the optional BigSibs orientation in the afternoon.

The orientation has traditionally started at 9:00 AM and usually concludes by 12:30 PM. (Use the link above to see how last year's program looked...)
