Parents of Prospective Students
For information about admission to TJ, please visit the Admissions website. Admission to the school operates independently from the school. All questions should be directed to the admissions staff. Contact information can be found on the Admissions website.
Parents of Current Students
Parents are an important part of the TJHSST community! Whether part of the PTSA or offering their time to volunteer, we appreciate all that parents do for us.
The PTSA website is a great source of information for parents of current TJ students. You do not need to be a member of the PTSA to view all of this valuable information.
Parents should make sure that the school has their current e-mail, home address, and phone numbers. Please contact your student's counselor to update any infromation.

FCPS 24-7 and SIS Grade Book Parent Accounts
If you have not yet activated your SIS Parent Account, FCPS will be sending a letter in the mail with a new activation code on Monday, Oct. 19. Thus, please only use the Parent Support Request for issues not related to new activation codes.
Starting September 8, 2015, you must have an active SIS Parent Account to be able to login to FCPS 24-7 Learning. The same login will be used to access both the SIS and FCPS 24-7 systems on this date.
If you had an active FCPS 24-7 Learning Parent View account by June 18, 2015, you will be able to continue using this account until the beginning of the 2015-16 school year. Each parent has or will receive a letter in the mail providing a web address, activation key, and directions on registering for an SIS Parent account. If you received a letter, but did not act within the allotted 45 days, you must request a new activation code from your student's counselor.
FCPS 24-7 Learning Parent View will provide access to view all of your child's available courses, Family Connection to view Academic and Career Planning (for Middle and High school students), and Bus Stop Information. You can also update your child's Emergency Care Information through weCare@school.
SIS Parent Account will provide access to view your child's student information, including attendance, report cards, class schedules, gradebook (for Middle and High School students), course history, discipline, health, and school information, establishing another form of communication between home and school. SIS parent access to the grade book will be active on September 21, 2015.
Technology@Home Program
Technology@Home enables FCPS students and staff to purchase technology products for home use directly from vendors at discount rates. Programs are a benefit of our enterprise licensing agreements or contracts.
Colonial Award
This award has been created to recognize members of the TJ staff and faculty that illustrate tremendous care to support student success or well-being in our community, or demonstrating high levels of integrity as exemplary role models. These heroes and role models of our community should be recognized for what they do to make TJ an extraordinary community. Nominate someone!
