College and Career Center
An integral part of the TJ Guidance Department, the College and Career Center (CCC) in room 243 works closely with counselors to provide practical, current information to the TJ community. College and Career Center Resource Specialist, Ms. Eileen Kropf, runs the center assisted by parent volunteers.
The College and Career Center is TJ's main source of information on the college process and career planning. The center has numerous resources on scholarships, college visits, college financial aid, testing, jobs and summer and volunteer opportunities. It also has books and other materials related to the college application process that can be checked out for use at home.
To begin your college research activities, please be sure to access the Naviance system (Family Connections account).

Hours |
Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:00 Hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday through Friday throughout the school year. To facilitate student use, the center is open before school hours, during lunch and during eighth period. However, since the center is often used for classroom and other activities during the day, parents are strongly urged to call in advance of a visit. This will ensure that the room and staff are ready to meet your needs. Ms. Kropf is also available for personal conferences by appointment. |
