German Honor Society
The German Honor Society (GHS) is dedicated to promoting the study of the German language and civilization and fostering the appreciation of German culture in the entire TJ community. The society meets regularly during eighth periods and organizes cultural events such as Oktoberfest, St. Nicholas-Day, Gingerbread House Contest, Grillfest, and Carnival. Students who have completed at least three semesters of German and are in good academic standing are eligible to apply in January. The annual induction is held in the spring.
