Clubs & Teams

The Math-CS division provides students with opportunities for intellectual challenges and growth through active participation on academic teams.  Participants may seek elected leadership roles and/or earn an academic letter for their participation, performance, and service to the community on both the Varsity Math and Senior Computer Teams. 

Varsity Math Team

The Varsity Math Team is open to any student at TJHSST. The team meets Wednesdays during both A and B blocks.  Students participate in a variety of math contests, local to international, and can earn an academic letter.  For more information, see Varsity Math Team.

Senior Computer Team 

The Senior Computer Team is open to any student in grades 10-12.  Team members gather to practice and enhance problem solving skills involving programming.  Members participate in several contests including USACO, Topcoder, and ACM on the national and international levels.  The team meets Fridays B block.  Students have the opportunity to earn an academic letter.  For more information see Senior Computer Team.

Intermediate Computer Team 

The intermediate computer team is open to any sophomore. Team members gather to practice problem solving skills with computers and participate in the American Computer Science League competitions.  The team meets Fridays A block.

Freshman Computer Team 

The Freshmen Computer Team is open to any freshman. Team members participate in the American Computer Science League competitions.  The team meets Fridays A block.
