Brandon Kosatka, Director of Student Services

Brandon Kosatka was born and raised in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and is a graduate of the FCPS school system. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina (Kilo Company, Class of 1997), a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in School Counseling (K-12) from James Madison University, and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Administration & Supervision (K-12) from the University of Virginia.

He served as a School Counselor at both the elementary and secondary levels from 1999 until 2007 and has been the Director of Student Services at TJHSST since 2007. Currently he serves as the Principal's Designee and supervises the following departments and areas:

• Department of Student Services and School Counseling Team
• Clinical Staff (School Psychologist, School Social Worker, Special Education, and SpEd Itinerants)
• Test Coordination and Assessment
• Systems of Support and Intervention
• Information Technology and Network Infrastructure

Mr. Kosatka, when he's not working hard for the TJ community enjoys volleyball, camping/backpacking, and spending time with his beautiful wife and daughters.
